SWING - a rocking chair created for danish brand HAY. This furniture piece was inspired by swinging itself. The challenge was to find a different swinging scenario. 

SWING has a unique swinging scenario because the top part is swinging, not the bottom part. The problem of damaging the floor is solved. Also, it is very fun to do so. The aesthetics are neutral, light and the unique swinging is discovered when sat on the chair
